PSSI yang dikabarkan telah menunggak gaji Milla hingga tiga bulan dan juga sewa rumah untuk Luis Milla dengan total sekitar Rp 6,9 Milyar mengklaim akan dibayar segera. Luis Milla oleh pihak PSSI diberi waktu hingga 15 September 2018 nanti untuk bisa kembali ke Indonesia guna menangani timna kembali.
“Pasti kami bayar, kemarin kan masalahnya dia langsung pulang dan mungkin dia menenangkan diri. Kami juga melihat bagaimana cara kami kalah kemarin, pinalti, wasit dan merugikan kami semua,” kata Refrizal dilansir dari detik.com.
Refrizal juga meyakinkan kepada publik bola Indonesia, bahwasanya belum datangnya Luis Milla ke Indonesia bukan karena masalah tunggakan gaji, namun ada opsi lain yang membuat Luis Milla tak mau lagi bekerja sama dengan pihak Federasi.
