Ini menjadi petaka bagi skuat Ayam Kinantan, mengingat mereka hanya membawa 16 pemain.

Pada menit ke-26, pemain kedua tim tampak saling beradu fisik dan harus dihukum oleh wasit.
Striker Perseru Serui, Silvio Escobar, dan stopper PSMS, Reinaldo Lobo, diberi hukuman kartu kuning oleh wasit.
