Dilansir CNNIndonesia.com (16/9/18), laga persahabatan yang akan digelar di Stadion Pakansari ini, merupakan persiapan untuk tampil di Piala Asia U-19 2018 nanti.
Sesuai jadwal, Timnas Indonesia U-19 akan bermain melawan Thailand pada 23 September dan China pada tanggal 25 September.
Menjelang laga tersebut, Timnas Indonesia U-19 memastikan memanggil salah satu talenta mudanya, Egy Maulana Vikri, yang kini bermain di klub Eropa, Lechia Gdansk.
PSSI sendiri saat ini sudah menghubungi Lechia Gdansk dengan mengirimkan surat. Hanya saja PSSI belum mendapatkan jawaban dari klub asal Polandia tersebut.
"Kami tunggu bagaimana jawaban dari Lechia, kapan untuk masalah waktunya (memulangkan Egy ke Indonesia). Karena kami ingin juga Egy ada di uji coba sebelum pertandingan," ungkap Sekjen PSSI Ratu Tisha Destria.
Menurutnya, jika pun nantinya Lechia Gdansk hanya ingin melepas pemain 18 tahun itu pada saat Piala Asia bergulir, hal itu tentu menjadi kewenangan klub. "Apabila klub melepas hanya pada saat turnamen, dia (Lechia) juga tidak menyalahi aturan," kata Tisha. (*)
